Our mission
Most security tools were built for a specific type of company: a dedicated security team, a separate budget, professionals who spend their entire day inside the platform. That reality exists, but it represents a small fraction of the market. Most companies that need serious security don't have that luxury.
In practice, there are engineers carrying infrastructure responsibility alongside product delivery. Teams that need to make risk decisions without a security specialist on call. Production environments that can't stop, but also can't ignore real threats.
Vorpcel was built for that context. Every product needs to be understandable by people who don't work with security all day, operable by small teams without losing coverage, and honest about what it detects and what it doesn't. No configurations that pile up without purpose. No alert volumes that train the team to ignore notifications. No dashboards that exist to impress in meetings.
Effective security is security that integrates into operations without creating a parallel operation. That principle guides every product decision we make, from what goes on the roadmap to how we present a scan result.
Our principles
From product architecture to how we respond to a support ticket: principles we don't sacrifice for deadlines.
Every flow needs to make clear what happened, why it matters, and what action comes next. An interface that creates confusion is a broken interface.
Logs, alerts, and reports need to come with enough context for auditing, remediation, and internal communication, without having to open a ticket to understand what happened.
The product needs to reduce real risk, not just increase the number of rules, alerts, or screens to manage. Metrics that don't drive decisions are noise.
Our approach
Vorpcel didn't come from theory. It came from the frustration of trying to protect applications with tools designed for dedicated security teams, not for engineers who also need to ship features.
Context-driven product
Every alert, log, and report is built with the reader in mind: an engineer with a few minutes, not an analyst with hours to spare.
Iteration with users
The roadmap is shaped by real operational feedback, not market trends. Production customers have direct access to the product team.
Responsible growth
We prefer to add one module that works well over launching ten that need adjustment. Protection quality is non-negotiable.
